The joint conference of the European Medical and Biological Engineering Conference (EMBEC) and the Nordic-Baltic Conference on Biomedical Engineering and Medical Physics (NBC) is taking place in Tampere, Finland, in June 2017: www.embec2017.org. The meeting is endorsed by IEFMBE (www.ifmbe.org) as we as EAMBES (www.eambes.org).
The topics of the conference include all traditional Biomedical Engineering areas, and in addition new emerging fields, such as tissue engineering, bioinformatics, biosensing, neurotechnology, additive manufacturing technologies for medicine and biology, and bioimaging, to name a few. The conference brings together engineers, biologists, and clinical experts into an interactive and attractive forum with prominent plenary and state of the art speakers including Nobel Laureate Professor Stefan W. Hell!
The conference also offers multiple opportunities for both exhibitors and sponsors to get good visibility and expand networks in the global medical and biological engineering arena.
More information on the conference, including the plenary speakers and the major themes, can be found on the website http://embec2017.org/ and on the attached brochure.
They also welcome for suggestions of special and topical session where we also provide some support for organizers. The call for Session Proposals is open until 30 October 2016 at http://embec2017.org/session-proposals/
