CompBioMed2 started on 1st October 2019, to celebrate this and to discuss matters arising from the new project, we will be holding our Kick-Off meeting at LRZ in Garching, near Munich, Germany on 21-23 October 2019
In this meeting, a particular focus of attention will be on machine learning (high performance data analytics) and its interaction with mechanistic modelling and simulation on high performance computers, our preparedness for the advent of exascale computers, innovation and the expansion of our education and training programmes. This will be coupled with a lecture by Atos and LRZ on their work to introduce and integrate Quantum Computers into their business which will take place at 17:30 on 22nd October.
